Stationary Inspection System «KALAN-2M»
Stationary Inspection System (SIS) KALAN-2M is intended to examine different objects such as parcels, wrappers, etc. looking for hidden explosive devices, fire-arms, and authorized eavesdropping equipment. Total radiation safety of SIS allows its exploitation as a means of in-coming control placing it in offices, enter-prises, etc.
Since SIS features micro-focus X-ray emitter and moveable work table, operator is able to zoom different parts of an object examined (4x … 12x zoom factor).
SIS is able to work in discrimina-tive mode that ensures discrimination of groups of substances (organic and non-organic).
SIS has small dimensions, modern design, so it may fit any office and industrial environment. SIS has a moveable trolley; you need only one person to move it in a room from one place to another. Operator controls all main SIS operations using external console that makes operator's work much easier and more effective. High contrast colour high resolution dis-play ensures better sensing of images got during SIS operation.
