Selective Inductive Metal Detector «SARMAT-7242»
Selective Inductive Metal Detector (MD) SARMAT-7242 is intended to search and identify metal objects in non-conductive (dry silicate sand, wood, etc.) and low conductive environment (soil, break wall, etc.).
This device may be used in:
- forensic investigations;
- sapper army divisions;
- municipal housing and communal services, construction and fire fighting to search under-ground communications, pipelines, cables, drain batches, etc.;
- archeology and treasure hunt.
MD SARMAT-7242 features the following builtin automatic functions: balancing according to the soil properties, sensor signal amplification, audible detection threshold, and discrimination level. Audible detection alarm is discriminative:
- low tone corresponds to detection of small ferromagnetic objects (nails, wire, splinters, etc.);
- high tone corresponds to detection of non-ferrous metals, at that each tone corresponds to particular type of objects. MD works in dynamic mode, i.e. detects objects only during sensor moving.
MD has built-in automatic three-level battery voltage control function. Battery discharge is displayed using audible warning signal and a light emission diode located on a MD control panel. MD has connectors for headphones and battery charger.
